At 4-8, the Detroit Lions have a very small chance of making the NFL Playoffs. Because of that, more and more fans (if you want to call them that) have begun rooting for the team to tank for a higher draft pick.

Personally, I think tanking is for fans with a loser mentality and one current Lion happens to agree with me.
Following Darius Slay’s pick-six against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, injured Lion T.J. Lang took to Twitter to show his excitement.

When it comes to lightning rods in Detroit sports, Matthew Stafford may be the biggest of all-time.
