Detroit Pistons’ 2019 NBA Playoffs schedule announced

On Wednesday night, the Detroit Pistons had an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot by defeating the New York Knicks and they did just that with a dominating 115-89 win at Madison Square Garden.

With the win, the Pistons claimed the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference and they will now square off against the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st Round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs.

It will be a best of seven series and here is what the schedule looks like.

Game 1: Sun, April 14 Detroit at Milwaukee, 7 ET, TNT

Game 2: Wed, April 17 Detroit at Milwaukee, 8 ET, NBA TV

Game 3: Sat, April 20 Milwaukee at Detroit, 8 ET, ESPN

Game 4: Mon, April 22 Milwaukee at Detroit, 8 ET, TNT

*Game 5: Wed, April 24 Detroit at Milwaukee, TBD, TBD

*Game 6: Fri, April 26 Milwaukee at Detroit, TBD, TBD

*Game 7: Sun, April 28 Detroit at Milwaukee, TBD, TBD

Individual tickets go on sale on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m.

OFFICIAL: Detroit Pistons clinch playoffs for first time since 2016

It took longer than fans would have preferred, but now they can rest assured – for the first time since 2016, the Detroit Pistons will be in the NBA playoffs!

They officially confirmed their reservation for the dance with a 115-89 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. It was further made possible after an imperative 100-93 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at Little Caesars Arena last night.

The Pistons will have a daunting task in front of them, with their likely opponent set to be the Eastern Conference’s best team, the Milwaukee Bucks.

It will also mark the first time that playoff action will be hosted by Little Caesars Arena, which opened in 2017.
