According to a report from Emily Waldon, Cole Peterson of the Erie SeaWolves has been placed on the voluntary retired list, according to the team.
Waldon praised Peterson, calling him “one of the most electric defensive infielders” she has ever covered.
Peterson, who was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 15th round of the 2017 MLB Draft, played in 342 career minor league games. During that time, he hit .250 with one home run and 95 RBIs.
