Let’s face it, the 2021 Detroit Tigers may be entertaining from time to time but there is no question about it that they could use some extra help in quite a few areas.
One of those areas the Tigers could use some help is pitching. As we speak, the Tigers have the worst team ERA in Major League Baseball with a 4.90.
According to a report from Jon Heyman, former Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez threw for select teams on Friday and the Tigers were reportedly in attendance.

Sanchez, who is now 37, was 4-5 with a 6.62 ERA in 11 starts with the Washington Nationals in 2020 but he is clearly not interested in hanging up his cleats quite yet.
Should the Tigers sign Sanchez? Personally, I would be 100% behind it. Not only because he may be able to help the Tigers a bit this season but because he could end up being a minor trade chip if he is able to regain his old form.
