Heading into Saturday’s game between Michigan and Michigan State, even the most faithful Spartans fans thought the Wolverines would win the game, and rightfully so.
After all, following Michigan State’s loss to Rutgers the week before, plenty of Spartans’ fans took to social media to bash their own team.
But, as we know by now, Michigan State disposed of Michigan 27-24 at the Big House, despite being three-touchdown underdogs.
Following the game, Spartans fans took to social media to bash Michigan and Jim Harbaugh, as did Wolverines’ fans.
Now, former Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner has weighed in as he took to Twitter to call Michigan State fans “Front Runners.”
I didn’t get a chance to watch the Michigan/Michigan State game yet because I was coaching at the @Elite11 (will watch tonight) but I said it before and I’ll say it again…
🗣MSU=Front Runners! I literally didn’t hear a sound from one spartan I know until their win Saturday! pic.twitter.com/bL9jhSo14r— Devin GARDNER (@devingardnerXCI) November 2, 2020
Nation, do you agree with Gardner?
