The New England Patriots originally acquired CB Michael Jackson from the Detroit Lions in an August trade for an undisclosed 2022 Draft selection.
And now, a new development will now be affecting the Lions Draft in 2022.
The Patriots have decided to include Jackson in their latest round of cuts as their 53 man roster takes shape:
As a result of the cut, the Lions will now not be receiving a draft pick from the Patriots, since the trade was based on Jackson getting playing time with New England.
Jackson was originally a fifth-round draft pick (158th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys out of Miami in the 2019 NFL Draft.
