It was already expected to be a long season for the Detroit Tigers but things got even worse when news broke that Michael Fulmer would miss the entire season.
Fulmer got multiple opinions but in the end, he decided that having Tommy John surgery was his best option if he ever wanted to get back to where he once was as a pitcher.

Well, according to Fulmer, the surgery is over and it was successful.
