Ken Holland spent 33 years in the Detroit Red Wings‘ organization, 22 of those as general manager.
During his time in the Motor City, he helped build a team that made 25-straight playoff appearances and won three Stanley Cups.

Despite his success, the Red Wings eventually started losing and Holland wore out his welcome amongst the fans.
Holland was recently asked about Red Wings fans wanting him gone towards the end of his time in Detroit and his response was classy.
“That's sports, I respect the passion, That's what makes these franchised really great is the fan base really cares and they live and die with their team,” Holland said.

Whether or not you were a fan of Ken Holland at the end of his time with the Red Wings, you have to admit that he has always been a classy individual.
Oh, and three Stanley Cups is not too shabby.
