Why was Little Caesars Arena evacuated?
The report says the incident took place on Thursday afternoon at 3:15 p.m., and two staff members are expected to be ok after suffering minor burns.
The ammonia took place in the basement of the LCA, and reports suggest that the leak may have come from the refrigeration unit for the ice.

Good thing fans weren’t in there. The arena is vast and wide but when you have to funnel all those people in the 200s down the narrow escalator, I imagine a full scale evacuation is a disaster waiting to happen.
