It wasn’t the greatest of seasons for the Michigan State Spartans, but they’ll finish it by going bowling.
Following their 19-16 win over Maryland today at Spartan Stadium to finish the season with a 6-6 record, head coach Mark Dantonio focused on the positives, saying that the victory and the bowl eligibility was a “program win”.

The team also passed out hats with the phrase “program win” on them.

The Spartans now await their bowl placing, likely either the Pinstripe Bowl in New York or the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit.
