On September 11, 2001, the United States of America was changed forever when a series of coordinated terrorist attacks claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent people.
On Tuesday, at precisely 8:46 a.m., two Georgia firefighters honored the fallen heroes of 9/11 by hopping on the StairMaster and climbing 110 flights.

Mitch Albom destroys Detroit Lions fans for lack of support on MNF
I have been watching Detroit Lions football for a long, long time. I’ve been disappointed time and time again over the years but never have I been as disappointed as I was on Monday night as I watched my favorite team lay an egg on national television.
My hope was to make it out to the game but due to my wife having a “Bunco night” with her friends (which I am fine with, she deserves it), my only option was to watch the game on my television.
While watching the game unfold, I could hear the boos from the Ford Field crowd loud and clear and I thought to myself how glad I was that I did not drop a bunch of cash on such a sorry excuse for a football team. Had I went to the game, I would have refrained from booing my team because that is not my style, but I would not have looked down on anyone who did.
Detroit News writer Mitch Albom has a much different view on the fans booing than I do, which he is entitled to.
