NFL reveals punishment for Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has come under fire for misleading the media with regards to his immunization status against COVID-19. He recently tested positive for the illness and missed their most recent game against the Kansas City Chiefs, while backup Jordan Love got his first career start.

The NFL soon launched an investigation into Rodgers and the Packers, and have announced punishment for both the quarterback and the team. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Packers have been fined $300K; meanwhile, Rodgers (as well as WR Allen Lazard) have each been fined $14,650:

Rodgers also drew scrutiny for his comments last week while appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show” in which he declared himself to be a victim of the “woke mob” and “cancel culture”.
