According to Detroit Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill, center Andreas Athanasiou will make his regular-season debut on Tuesday night against the Anaheim Ducks.

The news comes a day after the Red Wings announced Athanasiou was placed on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Sept. 20.
Athanasiou played in 76 games for the Red Wings last season, scoring 30 goals and dishing out 24 assists.
