Goaltender Jonathan Bernier had a huge hand in the Detroit Red Wings winning their second consecutive game on Saturday night, taking down the Montreal Canadiens by a 2-1 final score.
Bernier made 42 saves, including a huge glove save in the third period to preserve his team’s lead. He narrowly missed out on the shutout when former Red Wing Tomas Tatar beat him with less than a minute remaining.
After the game, Bernier received the game-puck from forward Robby Fabbri, who was awarded with the honor the previous game.
