Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard squashes rumors, reveals future plan

This does not come as much of a surprise but according to Elliotte Friedman, Jimmy Howard has likely played his final game with the Detroit Red Wings.

According to Howard, he is “probably not” going to continue with the Red Wings, but he squashed the rumors floating around that he is retiring.

“Someone is going to have to tell me I can't play anymore,” Howard said.
