Report: Detroit Lions work out 2 quarterbacks in advance of Thanksgiving Day

This coming Thursday is Thanksgiving and as Detroit Lions know, that is a day to spend with family while stuffing our faces with turkey and watching football.

Unfortunately, Matthew Stafford will miss his fourth straight game (though he has not officially been ruled out), which means we will get to see another installment of Jeff Driskel, assuming he is able to go. If Driskel is forced to miss Thursday's game, it would be David Blough who would get the nod.

Because of the Lions' current quarterback situation, it is no surprise that they reportedly worked out a pair of signal-callers on Tuesday.

Howard Balzer is reporting that the Lions worked out QBs Joe Callahan and Taryn Christion on Tuesday.

Callahan, who is 26, played in one career game with the Green Bay Packers in 2017.

Christion, who is 22, has never played in an NFL game.

Both players went undrafted in their respective drafts.
