On Monday night, a rumor surfaced that Providence’s Ed Cooley “intends to accept a deal” to become the next head basketball coach at Michigan.
Though Cooley could indeed become the Wolverines’ next head coach, there are reports that indicate an offer has not yet been made. In fact, Michigan AD Warde Manuel is still scheduled to meet with Juwan Howard on Tuesday.
