According to former NFL DT Dan Sileo, who now has his own radio show, the Detroit Lions are in talks with the San Francisco 49ers about a trade for Matthew Stafford.

Sileo also suggests that the New England Patriots could also get involved in the talks for the Lions quarterback.
Now, as I say every year at this time, please be aware that there will be plenty of reports about teams reaching out to the Lions about Stafford but please take them all with a grain of salt.
It is Brad Holmes’ job to listen to all offers for all players. That does not mean he will take any of the deals that come his way.
