Known to Detroit Tigers affectionately as “Tram”, Alan Trammell is one of the greatest players not only in team history, but in the sport itself.
So who better than for the player Detroit hopes will have as legendary a career in Spencer Torkelson to receive advice and pointers from?
The Hall of Fame shortstop gave some valuable instruction to Torkelson during today's practice at Comerica Park after he'd taken batting practice:

“Oftentimes, power guys are trying to crank and create,” Trammell said in June following Detroit selecting Torkelson 1st overall. “He doesn't do that. So that leads us to believe it's going to be a little easier transition into professional baseball.”
