Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman trash Detroit Lions: ‘They’ve been a national embarrassment’ [Video]

This may be hard for many of you to believe, but a long, long time ago, the Detroit Lions were a proud and respectable NFL franchise. In fact, they were once considered to be one of the best, if not THE BEST franchises in the sport.

But those days are long gone and the Detroit Lions franchise of the present has become the laughing stock of the NFL.

On Thursday, Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman of ESPN’s First Take spent some time talking about the Lions.

Kellerman spoke about how big of a mistake it was for the Lions to move on from Jim Caldwell, who had taken the team to the Playoffs in two of his four seasons, while Stephen A. Smith said the Lions have been a “national embarrassment.”
