Remaining broadcast schedule announced for Detroit Red Wings

The Detroit Red Wings have announced the broadcast schedule for the remainder of the 2020-21 NHL Season. 29 of their remaining 32 regular season games will be featured on either Fox Sports Detroit or Fox Sports Detroit Plus, with four games set to air nationally on NBCSN. WATCH: Pavel Datsyuk makes Trevor Thompson look silly on the ice [Video]

FOX Sports Detroit reporter, Trevor Thompson created his own little segment on FSD broadcasts a while back. The segments are titled ‘Trev Takes On’ and usually get aired on an episode of Red Wings Live or on one of the weekly recap shows done up during the season. Trevor would spotlight around Pavel Datsyuk and would have a little stick handling session with him.

Yes, Trevor is not a professional hockey player, but by the looks of it, he can skate pretty well.

Datsyuk would turn him inside out on a number of occasions on the ice. You can hear Thompson laughing through practically the entire segment as the ‘Magic Man’ just seemed to be toying with him. Having one of the best, if not, the best set of hands the NHL has ever seen, Pavel Datsyuk gave Trevor Thompson an up close and personal reason why.

Tigers valued at $1.125 billion by Forbes

Forbes Magazine released it’s annual analysis of the overall financial worth of Major League Baseball and the findings are extraordinary. According to the article the average value of a MLB team is $1.2 billion and the entire league valued at $36 billion. This number is up by 48% since last year, which is the fastest increase since the first analysis in 1998. Television contracts, advertising, ticket, and merchandise sales are contributing factors to a team’s overall worth. Baseball has never been more profitable as there are now 15 teams worth over $1 billion. This number increased from only five in 2014.
