On Thursday, the Detroit Lions officially announced that they have hired Brad Holmes to be their next general manager.
With a GM in place, the Lions have not shifted 100% of their focus on hiring a head coach.
The Lions have interviewed plenty of candidates for their head coach vacancy but according to reports, one of those candidates has canceled their second interview with the team.
That candidate is Titans OC Arthur Smith, who will reportedly be hired by the Atlanta Falcons.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that Smith has canceled his interview with the Lions.
#Titans OC Arthur Smith has been the focus for the #Falcons and those two sides have been talking, sources say. His #Lions trip is now off. The #Eagles have been monitoring, but all eyes on Atlanta.
