WATCH: Pistons get half second of luck, avoid losing to the Hornets

Marco Belinelli hit one of the craziest buzzer beaters you are ever going to see, and it didn’t count.

And because it didn’t count, the Detroit Pistons were able to escape The Palace with a 115-114 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

While the shot is amazing, I can’t help but wonder why Belinelli thought 0.5 seconds would be enough time to throw the ball of Marcus Morris’ back, recover it, and shoot. Nonetheless, Belinelli thought time stood still, and the Pistons picked up a much needed win because of it.
