Way Too Early Prediction: The Lions will have double-digit losses

Paul thinks that the Lions have all the makings for a 7 win season, possibly a single-digit loss season in this way too early NFL prediction.

Paul Rochon: You kind of stole the thunder on one of my predictions, because I was going to predict the lions to get seven wins.

A.J Reilly: See there you go, there’s your way to early prediction, go for it…

Paul Rochon: What I wanted to do, but the NFL robbed me, by moving to a 17 game schedule, I wanted to say the Lions were going to have single-digit losses this season. But unfortunately, seven wins still leaves them with 10 losses, which could they get the eight wins? It could be possible.

Here’s my thing with the Lions last year, they were in a ton of games and the Lions were horrible last year, they have the number two pick for a reason, but look at how many games they were in and it wasn’t, it wasn’t just early in the season or late in the season or in the middle of the season.

This team fights hard for Dan Campbell. You can say what you want about the play-calling, which we know that I’m not a big fan of. You can say what you want about the talent level on this team, but they play really hard. They played hard at the beginning of the season. They played hard at the end of the season and they rally around each other, a team that has a healthy locker room that plays as a cohesive unit, will, always, has a higher ceiling than teams that don’t you see all the time teams with a lot of talent, don’t have the performance on the field because they’re fractured.

This team plays really well together.

Hopefully. You’re going to find some pieces. We didn’t lose a bunch of talent. All the pieces are there for the lions to not contend in the division, not make the playoffs, but win 6 7, 8 games. It’s a possibility.
