Trailing Ball State 30-27 with just six seconds left in the game, Western Michigan had one last chance to pull out a victory to clinch their division.
That is when chaos ensued as the Broncos lateraled the ball over and over again, including after the Ball State players from the sidelines came running onto the field, thinking the game was over.
As you will see below, the Broncos eventually scored what they thought was the winning touchdown, but it was eventually overturned to do a forward lateral.
This is still pretty darn cool to watch as it was reminiscent of the ‘Band is on the field' play from the Stanford vs. Cal game many moons ago.
CHAOS 🤯
Both teams ran onto the field before the play was ruled dead as Western Michigan attempted a last second TD.
