On Thursday night, the Detroit Red Wings jumped out to a 3-1 first period lead over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Wings extended their lead to 4-1 in the second period and it looked like the rest of the game would just be a formality.

But the Maple Leafs were not about to go quietly into the night as they stormed back, scoring three third period goals to send the game to overtime.
With the momentum clearly in favor of the Maple Leafs, the Red Wings had to regroup and that’s exactly what they did.
Watch as Dylan Larkin shoots out of a rocket and scores an amazing breakaway goal to give the Red Wings a 5-4 overtime win.
