When the Detroit Lions went down by 10 points in the fourth quarter on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, absolutely nobody thought they would actually come back and win. Well, I take that back. The Lions themselves believed they would do it and that’s exactly what they proceeded to do.
But for those who had little faith that the Lions would come back and win, they had a pretty good reason as they had not done so in the past 40 games in which they trailed by 10+ points in the final quarter.
Lions had lost 40 straight games when trailing by 10+ points in the 4th quarter before rallying to beat the Bears yesterday.

Sure, the Lions came back and beat an awful team, but in the process, they showed us that they are willing to fight now that Matt Patricia is out of the picture.
