XFL not interested in Colin Kaepernick due to high salary demands

It wasn't too long ago that former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was getting a much-hyped workout in an attempt to make a return to the pro stage.

The Detroit Lions were even one of the teams allegedly showing interest. But the entire circus of how everything ultimately went down led to the NFL shutting the door on any potential return.

And now, it appears as though he won't be getting a shot with the XFL, either. Allegedly, they balked at his reported salary demands, as the XFL commissioner mentioned earlier this month during an interview.

“I think his salary demands are way out of our ballpark,” explained XFL commissioner Oliver Luck earlier in the month. “He was never really a viable option.”

Will the controversial figure ever play professionally again?
