Well, the Detroit Lions have officially been eliminated from playoff contention, which means it is time to start looking towards the 2021 NFL Draft. (To be fair, many of you have probably been looking ahead for quite a while now.)
The Lions currently hold the No. 8 selection in the 2021 NFL Draft but there is still a couple of weeks to move up in the order.
If the Lions want to move up in the draft order, it all starts with them losing out and they helped the cause by losing to the Buccaneers on Saturday.
In addition to the Lions losing to the Buccaneers, the 49ers beat the Cardinals, which also helps for those on the “tank train.”
