Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson will once again return to Minnesota as a member of the opposition this weekend.
And he has every expectation that it will go as well for him as the first time he returned did, which was a wave of emotion and excitement.

Peterson, who stablished himself as one of the all-time great running backs during his years in Minnesota, returned as a member of the opposition last year, and got a standing ovation from the crowd. He doesn’t expect anything differently this weekend.
Peterson anticipates having a good relationship with his former team once his playing days are through, despite some past disagreements.
“You’re going to have disagreements, you’re going to bump heads, you might not talk for a minute,” he said. “At the end of the day, you come back around and you love on each other,” he said. “For me, that’s what it’s going to always be.”
Lions RB Adrian Peterson says when all is said and done will have a great relationship with #Vikings: "I feel like it will be a great relationship. I've got nothing but love for Rick Spielman and love for the Wilfs.''
