At least this time, it wasn’t the Super Bowl.

The Atlanta Falcons snatched defeat from the jaws of victory today at AT&T Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys, falling in stunning fashion by a 40-39 final score. Greg Zuerlein’s 46-yard field goal as time expired sealed the win at the end of regulation for Dallas, who trailed by as many as 20 points.

The Falcons’ performance can be summed up by one absolutely shocking play late in the 4th quarter, much to the delight of the 21,708 in attendance:

The Falcons dropped to 0-2 on the year, while the Cowboys improved to 1-1.
