Bally Sports Detroit makes decision on Jack Morris

According to a report from Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press, Bally Sports Detroit had made a decision on Detroit Tigers announcer, Jack Morris.

Petzold is reporting that Morris will return to the broadcast booth from his suspension this coming Friday.

Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Jack Morriswill return to the broadcast booth Friday after serving a 23-day suspension for an apparent racist comment he made toward Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani, Bally Sports Detroit senior vice president/general manager Greg Hammaren confirmed to the Free Press.

BSD declined to provide an official statement regarding Morris' reinstatement.

  1. We have become awfully thin skined as of late. I don’t that Jack meant any ill will to Ohtani and Mr. Ohanti was very professional in his response. Just someone trying to make something out of nothing…..just my thoughts.

  2. jack morris is a true professional and i’m glad bally made the right decision to return him to the booth!!! after all those terrible years with ROD ALLEN it’s really nice to have someone that knows what he’s talking about. keep up the good work jack and gibby!!!
