Is Michigan the real deal? Outside of Nebraska, no team in the Big Ten has more hype than the Wolverines, the preseason favorite to win the conference and reach the College Football Playoff. New play-caller Josh Gattis is working to get Michigan’s talent more involved in the passing game and further develop senior signal caller Shea Patterson into one of the nation’s top quarterbacks. Heavy losses on Don Brown’s defense aside, this is Jim Harbaugh’s best opportunity to win big in Ann Arbor and it starts with a convincing decision over Middle Tennessee.

Michigan is returning 13 starters and are expected to contend for the Big Ten title.
