BREAKING: Detroit Red Wings to place LW Drew Miller on waivers


According to reports, Detroit Red Wings general manager Ken Holland has confirmed that LW Drew Miller will be placed on waivers at noon on Sunday.

Miller, who grew up in East Lansing, MI,  has played in 34 games for the Red Wings this season, scoring five goals and picking up one assist. He has been with the Red Wings since being claimed off waivers in November of 2009. In 550 career games, Miller has scored 62 goals and has 59 assists.
