According to the Detroit Tigers, they have optioned LHP Jose Fernandez to Triple-A Toledo and have recalled LHP Ryan Carpenter to start Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Following tonight’s game, the Tigers optioned LHP José Fernández to Triple A Toledo. LHP Ryan Carpenter will be recalled prior to tomorrow’s game.
