The Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers swung a major deal this afternoon, trading Andre Drummond in exchange for Brandon Knight, John Henson and a second-round pick.
For the Cavaliers, it was a deal they couldn’t pass up.
“It was just too good of a deal to pass up for us, especially at that price,” a source told cleveland.com not long after the trade was completed.
Of course, fans everywhere are reacting to the trade, and many on the Detroit side aren’t too pleased that the team wasn’t able to get more in return for their former center.
Drummond has a $28.7 million player option that he’s expected to decline and become a free agent this summer.
