Over the past couple of months, there have been plenty of rumors floating around that link Boston Bruins D Torey Krug to the Detroit Red Wings.

Now, according to a report, the Bruins could be looking to trade Krug's rights and the Red Wings have been mentioned (again) as a potential suitor, along with Colorado, Florida, and Vegas.
Look for the Bruins to trade Torey Krug's rights tomorrow to a team looking for exclusive negotiations before UFA opens on 10/9. Colorado, Florida, Vegas, and Detroit are among the suitors.

Sounds like there has indeed been significant interest in teams trading for Torey Krug's rights (@RearAdBsBlog on the case). My belief is last offer from #NHLBruins to Krug's camp was 6 years x $6.5 million.

Though I would love to see Krug in a Red Wings' sweater, it seems unlikely that GM Steve Yzerman would make a move like this, especially after he just traded for former New York Rangers defenseman, Marc Staal.
That being said, Yzerman is crafty and nobody knows what he will pull out of his sleeve next.
Nation, would you like to see the Red Wings trade for Torey Krug?
