The referees screwed the Detroit Lions again on Monday night and now, a day later, it looks like the NFL is going to apologize for a blown call.
On Tuesday, NFL executive Troy Vincent, who is in Florida for the Fall Meeting, says the second hands to the face call on Monday Night Football against Lions DL Trey Flowers is “not something that you want to see called.” Vincent told Ian Rapoport that he will speak with Lions’ owner Martha Ford and GM Bob Quinn about the call.
