Detroit Lions edge rusher Julian Okwara has bold prediction for 2021 season

During his rookie season in 2020, Detroit Lions edge rusher Julian Okwara did not have a single sack and only made three tackles in six games.

But Okwara thinks 2021 is going to be much different.

During a recent interview, Okwara predicted that he will get double-digit sacks in 2021, and so will his brother (Romeo Okwara), who has 10 sacks in 2020.

“I definitely see myself getting double-digit sacks and my brother the same thing,” Julian said last week, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “I think that’s something that hasn’t been done with two brothers coming off the edge and just having that excitement of knowing your brother’s on the other end.”

This seems like a bit of a pipe dream right now as Julian is unlikely to be a starter, but you have to love his confidence.
