The Detroit Lions have a new owner and her name is Sheila Ford Hamp.
She takes over as the Lions announced on Tuesday that Martha Ford is stepping down as principal owner, effective immediately.
Following the news, Lions fans took to social media to give their initial reaction to Martha stepping down and Sheila taking over. As you can see, the reactions are mixed.
The main reason why Lions are in this position for years is the ownership. They simply don’t care for Lions fans. They continue to make money with the team, even on the season they went 0-16. It’s sad to have so many chances with drafting in years and not building a winning team.
