Detroit Lions place WR Quintez Cephus on IR

Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes is staying busy this afternoon.

The team has announced that WR Quintez Cephus, who suffered a broken collarbone in Sunday’s game against the Vikings, has officially been placed on Injured Reserve. Additionally, they’ve released TE Jared Pinkney from the practice squad, while also bringing back WR Javon McKinley to the practice squad:

Fans may recognize McKinley’s name, as he was signed by the team as an undrafted rookie free agent but also included in training camp cuts.
