Detroit Lions release statement: “What is Happening Is Not Acceptable”

As protests continue to spread across the country following last week’s death of George Floyd in Minnesota, many professional sports teams have taken to social media to post messages of support and solidarity.

The Detroit Lions did the same this afternoon, posting a heartfelt message of support and promising to expand the work being done in the Detroit community:
