After re-signing IOL Evan Brown on Sunday, the Detroit Lions now have their entire 1st string and 2nd string offensive line intact for the 2022 season.
Unfortunately, for OT Will Holden, he will not be a part of either one of those units.
According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions have already informed Holden that they will not be tendering him as a restricted free agent, which means he will hit free agency.
From Detroit Free Press:
Holden played primarily as an extra lineman last season and saw his most extensive action of the season after Taylor Decker was injured in Week 18. Holden should compete for a backup job somewhere, but it likely will not be in Detroit. The Lions already have informed Holden they will not be tendering him a restricted free agent contract.
Nation, do you think this is the correct decision?
