The Detroit Lions were thoroughly embarrassed this afternoon at Ford Field by the Philadelphia Eagles, dropping a 44-6 final to fall to 0-8 on the season. They were dominated in every facet of the game, leading the far less than sold out crowd at Ford Field to serenade them with booing.
For safety Tracy Walker, he didn’t hide his feelings after the embarrassing loss.
“I’m hella pissed off,” he exclaimed during his postgame remarks. “It makes you feel like trash.”
The Lions are already hard-pressed to find victories with a severely shorthanded roster and a first year head coach. Is another winless season in just over a decade possible? Walker doesn’t believe that will happen. However, there was a caveat.
“But,” he adds, “if we don’t fix it — if we continue with the same problems — we ain’t gonna win a game.”
The Lions will have two weeks to regroup, as they’re entering their bye week before a November 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
