The Detroit Lions currently are sitting with a 3-10-1 record with two games remaining on their schedule before another offseason of questions begins.
For the fans, they’re already well aware that there won’t be any changes to the head coaching or general manager position. So naturally, the next biggest thing on their minds will be the NFL Draft.
The Lions are currently slated to have the 5th overall pick if the season were to end today, with Cincinnati (#1), NY Giants (#2), Miami Dolphins (#3) and Washington Redskins (#4) ahead of them.
ESPN’s Todd McShay has put out his first mock draft, and he predicts the Lions to take cornerback Jeff Okudah from Ohio State.

His reasoning:
“It’s time for the Lions to take their first Day 1 cornerback since Terry Fair in 1998,” McShay writes. “The big and athletic Okudah has all the tools to be a No. 1 corner in the NFL and would be the sixth Buckeyes defensive back in the past five years to go in Round 1.”
Should the Lions ultimately pick 5th overall, would this be a good selection for them?
