According to a report from Tom Pelissero, former Detroit Lions cornerback Teez Tabor has been waived by the San Francisco 49ers.
After being selected by the Lions in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Tabor never lived up to what GM Bob Quinn thought he would and he was released prior to the start of the 2019 season.
Tabor, who suffered a Jones fracture while participating in a virtual workout, had just re-signed with the 49ers this past February. He is expected to be ready for Week 1 if a team signs him.
Teez Tabor suffered a Jones fracture while participating in a virtual workout and already had surgery, source said. On track to be ready to play, for someone, before Week 1. https://t.co/hCuPbDKpwL
