As the Detroit Lions sit at 2-1-1, they will use their bye week to get healthy and to begin preparing for their Week 6 Monday Night Football matchup in Green Bay against the Packers.
According to Mike Garafolo, the Lions are working out former Redskins and Patriots WR Maurice Harris.
The #Lions are working out WR Maurice Harris today, source says. Former #Redskins receiver had a strong camp with the #Patriots but was waived with an injury settlement after hurting his foot. Got cleared recently by foot/ankle specialist Robert Anderson.

Harris, who is 26, has played in 28 career games with the Washington Redskins, catching 40 passes for 432 yards and a touchdown.
As Garafolo notes, Harris played very well for the Patriots in training camp before injuring his foot and eventually being waived.
