It was never much of a football game on Saturday afternoon as Michigan dominated Maryland from the opening kick on way to a 38-7 record.

In the game, true freshman running back Zach Charbonnet may have only had 28 yards rushing on eight carries, but he did score two touchdowns along the way.
Charbonnet’s first TD of the game gave him 10 on the season, which set a new Michigan team record for rushing touchdowns in a season for a true freshman. The previous record was held by Tyrone Wheatley and Mike Hart, who each had nine during their freshman season.

Charbonnet went on to add another touchdown on the day to move his total to 11 on the season.
With three regular-season games remaining, Charbonnet has a chance to add on to his record before his freshman season concludes.
