Taking our attention off of the travesty at Ford Field for a moment, a report came out today that the Houston Texans rejected an offer from an unnamed team for QB DeShaun Watson prior to this year’s draft. According to Pro Football Focus, via Jay Glazer, six draft picks were rejected by the Texans for their QB.

Watson’s name has been at the forefront of headlines all year, but for all the wrong reasons. After demanding a trade, the former-first round quarterback has been encircled with accusations of sexual assault, by numerous women. Yet, the asking price from the Texans has remained high if he’s going to be dealt. Still, turning down six draft picks, three first-rounders and three third-rounders, is an insane rejection for a club that is clearly in a rebuild.
