For over a month, the rumors and speculation surrounding Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh have been flowing like honey. The latest reports have suggested that the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and Carolina Panthers are all interested in potentially making Harbaugh their next head coach. On Friday afternoon, Harbaugh once professed his love for the Wolverines.
What did Jim Harbaugh say about Michigan?
On Friday, Harbaugh was at the annual Michigan high school football coaches clinic in Lansing, and Aaron McMann of MLive tried to ask him about the NFL but Harbaugh declined to answer.
But, when McMann asked Harbaugh if he wanted to be back with the Wolverines for the 2023 season, and not just “expects” to be, he had the following response.
“Have I knot showed that? I love Michigan. I love the team. I love everybody (there),” Harbaugh said.
According to reports, Harbaugh has already completed a 2-hour virtual interview with the Broncos, but an offer has not yet been made.
In addition, Angelique Chengelis of The Detroit News reported on Thursday that the Wolverines have not yet offered Harbaugh a new contract.
Stay tuned, folks. We do this every year. It won't be too much longer before we have our answer as to where Harbaugh will coach in 2023.
